Transfer Registration of a Bus

Except for registration of excursion buses, applicants are required to apply to LTA , Bus and Taxi Regulation Division, 10, Sin Ming Drive, Singapore 575701 for prior approval. Applications may be submitted by post or in person. Application for registration of private buses or transfer of excursion buses may also be submitted via fax no. 65535329 or Email to lta@lta.gov.sg.

Application form, students' name list form (Form A) and Workers' name list form (Form B) may be downloaded from this website.

 

Transfer/Replacement of a School bus

Please submit the following documents:

Application Form

   1 copy

School Agreement or Letter

   2 copies

Students' Name list endorsed by School Principal (Form A)

   2 copies

Agreement with an organization to convey its employees

   2 copies

Workers' name list endorsed by Employers (Form B), if any.

  2 copies

Owner's photocopy of NRIC, Vocational and Driving Licences.

   1 copy

Driver's photocopy of NRIC, Vocational and Driving Licences, if the driver is not the bus owner.

   1 copy

Seller's letter stating that he is agreeable to sell the bus.

   1 copy

A latest copy of the business profile from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) for which one of the principal activities should be "Chartered Bus Services" or "Business relating to passenger transport" - if the bus is to be registered in a company's name

   1 copy
Transfer/Registration of a Private Hire bus

Please submit the following documents:

Application Form   1 copy
Agreement with an organization to convey its employees   2 copies
Workers' name list endorsed by employers (Form B)   2 copies
Owner's photocopy of NRIC, Vocational and Driving Licence, if any   1 copy
Driver's photocopy of NRIC, Vocational and Driving Licence,   1 copy

Transfer /Registration of a Private Bus

Please submit the following documents:

Application Letter with the following information:
   1 copy
  The intended usage for the bus    
The seating capacity of the bus for new registration
The number of private buses owned at present, if any
The registration number of the bus (for transfer of bus)  
Complete set of CPF Form 90
   1 copy
Latest copy of the business profile from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)   1 copy
Seller's letter stating that he is agreeable to sell the bus
   1 copy

 




Registration of an Excursion bus

There is no need to seek prior approval from the Bus and Taxi Regulation Division.

 

Transfer of an Excursion bus

Please submit the following documents:

Application Letter

Latest copy of the business profile from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) for which one of the principal activities should be "Chartered Bus Services" or "Tourists or Travel Agency" or "Business relating to passenger transport"
