The F1TM Race will be held in Singapore from 26 to 28 September 2008.
To facilitate the setting up and removing of the temporary race infrastructure, a series of
gradual road closures in the Marina Centre area will take place from 20 September to 2 October 2008.
Take public transport, leave your car at home
Members of the public are strongly encouraged to use public transport to get to their
destinations in the Marina Centre area. During this period, only police vehicles, emergency vehicles
and vehicles displaying valid access labels will be allowed to enter selected roads.

If you take public transport

There will be a free bridging bus service connecting City Hall
& Bugis MRT stations to the Suntec-Marina Bay and Millenia areas. Public bus services
travelling to the Padang and Marina Bay will be diverted. Click here for more information on

All pedestrian underpasses like CityLink Mall and existing overhead bridges in the area will remain open. |

All MRT services will run till 1.30am from Fri 26 Sept to Sun 28 Sept. |
If you take a taxi
 |
If traffic conditions allow, taxis can drop off passengers at
taxi stands at Suntec City, Millenia Tower and Centennial Tower. Other taxi stands in
the vicinity of the road closure areas as indicated on the map are open even on race days. |

An additional $5 F1 taxi location surcharge is payable for pick-ups at designated taxi points from
10.30 pm to 12 midnight on Friday 26 Sep 2008 and Saturday 27 Sep 2008, and from 9.30 pm to 12 midnight on Sunday 28 Sep 2008.
This surcharge applies only to taxis from Comfort Transportation Pte Ltd, CityCab Pte Ltd, SMRT Taxis Pte Ltd, Premier Taxis Pte
Ltd, Trans-Cab Services Pte Ltd and Smart Automobile Pte Ltd (excludes Prime Taxis and Yellow Top taxis). Click here for more

Three of four lanes of Nicoll Highway and the stretch from Republic Avenue to Raffles
Avenue will be opened to Shenton Way-bound traffic during morning peak hours on some days. |
