Revamped ONE.MOTORING Portal Bags Two International Awards for Enhancing Users’ Interactive Experience

News Releases 13 Sep 2013 One.Motoring

1.     The Land Transport Authority’s ONE.MOTORING portal clinched two “Outstanding Achievement” Awards at the 2013 Interactive Media Awards (IMA) in the Government and Transport categories.

2.     The two awards were given in recognition for the revamped ONE.MOTORING portal, where the user interface was overhauled to adopt a streamlined and user-friendly design to enhance user experience. The awards were judged on the following factors: design, content, functionality, usability, standards compliance and cross-browser compatibility.

3.     The ONE.MOTORING portal was first launched in 2000 to offer motorists real-time information on traffic and road conditions. Over the years, ONE.MOTORING has successfully integrated a suite of 38 eServices to provide motorists the convenience to perform online transactions at their convenience.

4.     The revamped ONE.MOTORING features a metro-style navigation into the new site with more intuitive icons and descriptions to make for a livelier and seamless experience.  The revamped site is also tablet-friendly and smart phone-friendly for users on the move. Today, ONE.MOTORING is the largest one-stop eServices website for all motoring-related matters in Singapore, complete with lifestyle content featuring articles and exclusive privileges.

5.     Comments from the judges:  “The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMA and an extremely challenging award to win. Your website has excelled in all areas of our judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism.”

6.     LTA's Group Director, Innovation and InfoComm Technology Group, Mrs Rosina Howe-Teo said: "ONE.MOTORING is a household name with Singapore's motoring community and the industry. Over the years we have worked with our motoring partners to improve and introduce new services. We are very pleased to receive this prestigious award as it places our collective efforts and Singapore high among the best-in-class internationally.  The high scores attained by the portal are testament of our commitment to continuously improve and stay relevant with changing expectations."
