Security features to prevent double payment

We refer to Mr Wong Weng Fai’s letter “Pop-ups pose problems” (ST Online, 21 Oct 2014).
Users who make eNets Debit payments through LTA e-Services on the OneMotoring portal are required by the payment service provider to either add eNets' and the bank's websites to the list of allowed sites under the browser pop-up blocker settings or disable the pop-up blocker in order for their payments to be processed.
When a transaction fails due to the browser pop-up settings or poor internet connectivity, the portal will need time to reset the session and allow the failed payment to be terminated properly. This is a feature to prevent any security exploitation and to prevent duplicate payments.
Users who face any problems on the OneMotoring portal may contact LTA at 1800-2255 582 for assistance.
