Bidding of Light Goods Vehicle Registration Numbers for GBD Series

Bidding for light goods vehicle registration numbers 1 to 9999 in the GBD series will start from 8.00am on 14 February 2014 (Friday) and end at 4.30pm on 19 February 2014 (Wednesday). Interested members of the public are invited to submit their bids at LTA, 10 Sin Ming Drive, Level 1, Customer Service Centre, Singapore 575701.  The e-lobby’s operating hours is from 6.00am to midnight daily, including weekends and public holidays.

Bids can be submitted during these hours

Friday: 8am to midnight
Saturday to Tuesday: 6am to midnight
Wednesday: 6am to 4.30pm

The minimum bid amount is $1,000/-. Offer higher than $1,000/-shall be in multiples of $1/-. Bid amount must be made in full in the form of Cashier’s / Money / Postal Order only and made payable to the Land Transport Authority or LTA. Payments by cheque will not be accepted. All bids must be made on prescribed forms and envelopes that can be obtained from:

All payments for bids must be made by cashier’s order, money order or postal order.

Each registration number will be suffixed with a letter of the English alphabet. The numbers can only be used for registration of new light goods vehicles or replacement of existing light goods vehicle registration numbers in an individual’s or company’s name. Successful bidders will not be allowed to transfer the bid registration number. Further details on the bidding procedures can be found in the prescribed bid form.

Bidders can check the results of the bidding exercise via ONE.MOTORING website on Thursday, 27 February 2014, from 4.00pm. Successful bidders may start using the successful bid number from Friday, 28 February 2014.
