Electronic boards were updated

Media Replies 10 Apr 2014

We thank Mdm Vicky Chong for her feedback ‘Update traffic info on electronic signboards’ (The Straits Times, 1 April).

On 26 March around 9.55am, we received a report of a bus breakdown which resulted in a closure of the Toh Tuck Ave entrance into PIE(Changi).

Our records show that upon receiving the report, information of the closure were immediately put up on electronic signboards along Bukit Batok East Avenue 3, Toh Tuck Avenue and Toh Tuck Road before the entry to PIE towards Changi.

To alert drivers, the closure was also broadcast through our MyTransport.SG mobile apps, LTA Twitter, One.Motoring websites and LTA Traffic News on the radio, until the entrance to the expressway was reopened at 10.45am after the bus was removed.
