A new loop service - Service 122 - will be rolled out from Sunday, 15 March 2015, to provide better connectivity for commuters from the new housing areas at Margaret Drive, Dawson Road and Kay Siang Road to key transport nodes such as Outram Park, Tiong Bahru and Commonwealth MRT stations, as well as the New Bridge Road Bus Terminal.

It will ply along Eu Tong Sen Street, Outram Road, Tiong Bahru Road, Lower Delta Road, Alexandra Road, Tanglin Road, Kay Siang Road, Margaret Drive, Queensway, Commonwealth Drive and Commonwealth Avenue. With that, besides enhancing the connectivity to key transport nodes, it will also provide convenient access for commuters to schools - Gan Eng Seng, Manasseh Meyer, Queenstown Primary, Queensway Secondary, Assumption English, Crescent Girls and Alexandra Primary - as well as to amenities such as Tiong Bahru Plaza and Singapore General Hospital. It will operate daily from 6.00am to 11.30pm.
