For vehicles registered using Category E (Open) COEs, the rebate will be based on the QP of Category E, or its corresponding category from the same bidding exercise, whichever is lower.
Prevailing Quota Premiums for Existing Vehicles
Owners of existing vehicles can renew their COEs by paying the Prevailing Quota Premium (PQP), which is a moving average of the quota premium of the respective vehicle categories over the last 3 months, i.e. from the May 2015 to July 2015 bidding exercises. Owners of existing vehicles can renew their COEs using the PQP for August 2015 with effect from Friday, 24 July 2015.
