Joint News Release by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) & SBS Transit - New Services - 134 and 150 - and Route Amendment for Service 76

News Releases 04 Mar 2016 Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP)

As part of the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP), two new bus services - Services 134 and 150 - will be launched from Sunday, 20 March 2016. Concurrently, Service 76 will also see its route amended. The details are as follows:

  • New Service 134: Sims Place Bus Terminal to Marine Terrace (loop)
  • New Service 150: Eunos Bus Interchange to Marine Terrace (loop)
  • Route amendment of Service 76: Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange to Eunos Bus Interchange
     

Service 134

Service 134 will serve as a new direct link between Sims Place and Marine Parade via Paya Lebar MRT Station, and enhance connectivity to key amenities including Geylang Polyclinic. Starting from Sims Place Bus Terminal, Service 134 will ply along Sims Drive, Geylang East Central, Paya Lebar Road, Tanjong Katong Road, Amber Road, Marine Parade Road, before looping at Marine Crescent and Marine Terrace back to Sims Place Bus Terminal. It will operate from 6.00am to 11.45pm daily.


Service 150

Service 150 will operate from Eunos Bus Interchange and ply along Sims Avenue, Still Road, Joo Chiat Place, Telok Kurau Road, before looping at Marine Crescent, Marine Terrace and Marine Parade Road back to Eunos Bus Interchange via Changi Road and Jalan Turi. Service 150 will enhance connectivity to Eunos MRT Station / Bus Interchange for Marine Parade and Telok Kurau residents. It will operate from 6.00am to 11.30pm daily.


Service 76

With the introduction of Services 134 and 150, the route of Service 76 will be amended to terminate at Eunos Bus Interchange. Bus stops along Tanjong Katong Road, Amber Road, Marine Parade Road, Marine Crescent and Marine Terrace will be served by the new Service 134. Commuters can make same-stop transfer between the amended Service 76 and the new Service 134 at Paya Lebar MRT Station, or take alternative Service 43 for travel between Marine Parade Road, Tanjong Katong Road, Paya Lebar Road, Upper Paya Lebar Road and Yio Chu Kang Road.
