  1. Mr Chew Men Leong, LTA’s Chief Executive, said: “As we roll out the second package under the bus contracting model, we would like to assure commuters that LTA and the operators have been working hard to make this transition as seamless as possible and to bring about a better commuter experience with more regular bus timings and smoother bus rides. Although the implementation of this model is a relatively new experience for many of us, we are heartened by the close cooperation among all parties – Go-Ahead Singapore, SBS Transit and the National Transport Workers’ Union, to make this process a successful one.”
  2. Mr Nigel Wood, Managing Director of Go-Ahead Singapore, said: "We are now in the final stage of preparations and the company is well-placed to deliver our services for the Loyang bus package where every journey matters. Over the last few months, we have met a number of important targets, such as bus captain recruitment, creation of a service control centre and commissioning a number of brand new buses. None of these would have been possible without a group of dedicated colleagues. It is very important that we get off to a smooth start and I therefore ask passengers to look out for associated publicity materials onboard the buses and at the key transport nodes, in advance of our September start date. Among other things, it details our routes, timetables and how to get in touch. Go-Ahead Singapore is proud to be a part of the public transport network here and we look forward to providing the community with a quality service."
