30 September 2016 - A new Service 883 will be introduced from Sunday, 23 October 2016, to serve new and upcoming residential developments along Canberra Street and Canberra Way.

Service 883 is a trunk service that will ply between Sembawang Bus Interchange and Yishun Central 2 (loop). The service will enhance connection to key transport nodes such as Sembawang and Yishun MRT and key amenities such as Sun Plaza, Northpoint Shopping Centre, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital. Service 883 will also serve six new bus stops along Canberra Street and Canberra Way.

Service 883 will operate daily from 5.30am to 12.30am on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 5.45am to 12.30am on weekends (including Public Holidays).
