 Joint Release

New Service 110 and route amendments to provide better accessibility to Terminal 4

1     Commuters travelling to the new Changi Airport Terminal 4 can look forward to greater convenience and enhanced public transport connectivity with the introduction of a new Service 110 from Sengkang and amendment to existing Services 24, 34 and 36, with effect from Sunday, 22 October 2017.

New Bus Service:

  • Service 110: This new service will operate from Compassvale Bus Interchange in Sengkang, travel along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) and Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) and call at all four Changi Airport terminals. Within Sengkang, Service 110 will serve the Anchorvale area and connect to developments such as Sengkang Sports Complex and the upcoming Sengkang General Hospital.

Amended Bus Services:

  • Service 24 (Loop service between Ang Mo Kio and Changi Airport): Service 24 will be extended to call at Terminal 4, after calling at the other three terminals. After that, it will resume its existing routing onto the PIE towards Ang Mo Kio. Passengers of Service 24 are able to connect to the Tanah Merah Station along the East-West Line or the upcoming Upper Changi Station along the Downtown Line 3.
  • Service 34 (Loop service between Punggol and Changi Airport): Service 34 will be extended to call at Terminal 4, after calling at the other three terminals. After that, it will resume its existing routing onto the PIE towards Punggol. Passengers of Service 34 are able to connect to the Tampines Station along the East-West Line, or the Tampines Station and Tampines East Station along the Downtown Line 3.
  • Service 36 (Loop service between Changi Airport and Tomlinson Road): Service 36 will be extended to call at Terminal 4 after calling at the other three terminals. After that, it will resume its existing routing onto the East Coast Parkway (ECP) via a new slip road, towards Tomlinson Road. Passengers are able to take Service 36 to Marine Parade and Orchard Road.

Bus Services Unchanged:

  • Services 27, 53 and 858 will continue to call at only Terminals 1, 2 and 3 before returning to Hougang, Bishan and Woodlands, respectively. However, commuters from Terminal 4 who wish to take these services can walk to Bus Stop 95159 (Near SATS Flight Kitchen) along Airport Boulevard via an overhead bridge. Alternatively, commuters can also take Services 24 and 34 or 110 from Terminal 4 to Bus Stop 95159, and make a same-stop transfer to Services 27, 53 and 858.
  • Separately, existing passengers of Services 24 and 34 who do not wish to sit through the extension into Terminal 4 have the option of taking Services 27, 53 and 858 from the other three terminals to Bus Stop 95159 (Near SATS Flight Kitchen) along Airport Boulevard, and  make a same-stop transfer to Services 24 and 34.
