LTA invites commuters to a special public preview event of the three new Circle Line Stage 6 (CCL6) stations on 4 July 2026 from 9.30am to 9.00pm. Themed “Where Journeys Come Full Circle”, the event offers a unique opportunity to explore the three new stations – Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road before they open for passenger service on 12 July 2026.

Activities at CCL6 Public Preview

2.              There’s plenty to see and do across all three stations. Commuters can enjoy free train rides along the CCL6 stretch and participate in various activities:

a)    Explore the stations’ distinctive artworks, architecture and features, civil defence shelter and interesting landmarks; 
b)    Participate in fun and interactive games such as the Move Lite CCL6 Adventure Stamp Rally and Circle Line 6 Quests photo hunt for circles in and around the stations and stand to win exciting prizes; 
c)     Meet our beloved Thoughtful Bunch characters; and 
d)    Visit booths to learn more about the Land Transport Master Plan (LTMP) Refresh, our Friends of Land Transport (FOLT), Gracious & Caring Commuting Booth, SimplyGo, Public Transport Security, National Heritage Board (NHB) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).

Launch of Exclusive Knackstop Merchandise 

4.              Be the first few to get your hands on exclusive Knackstop merchandise specially curated to commemorate the completion of the Circle Line. Visit the Knackstop pop-up store at Cantonment station for special one-day only promotions available on 4 July.

Getting to the CCL6 Stations

5.              Commuters can get to the CCL6 stations during the public preview on 4 July in several ways:

(i)     By Train 

Take the free shuttle train services from CCL Marina Bay station to CCL6 stations. One shuttle runs between Marina Bay and Prince Edward Road stations at about 6–8 minute intervals; a second shuttle connects Prince Edward Road station to Cantonment and Keppel stations and operates at about 10-minute intervals.

To proceed to Cantonment and Keppel stations from Prince Edward Road station, commuters must transfer shuttle train from Platform A (upper platform) to Platform B (lower platform). Commuters may also take the shuttle trains to return to CCL Marina Bay station throughout the day. 

There will be no through-train connectivity between the existing CCL1-5 stations and CCL6 stations on the preview day. Please refer to Annex B for details.

(ii)         By Bus 

Commuters may also take public bus services that stop near or outside the CCL6 stations.   Please refer to Annex C for details of the bus services and their stopping points. 

Train Frequency from 12 July 

6.              From 12 July, trains will arrive at frequencies of about 2 minutes for the main loop during peak hours, and about 4 minutes between Dhoby Ghaut to Promenade, Bayfront and Marina Bay stations. During the off-peak hours and weekends, trains will arrive at average frequencies of about 5 to 6 minutes. LTA and SMRT will continue to monitor the train loading and make necessary adjustments based on operational needs. Commuters can refer to LTA’s MyTransport.SG mobile app for information on first and last train timings and estimated travel times. 

About CCL6 

7.              The completed Circle Line will span 39 kilometres across 33 stations, with 12 interchange stations connecting commuters to all existing MRT lines – the North-South and East-West Lines (NSEWL), North East Line (NEL), Downtown Line (DTL) and Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). This will provide more convenience for commuters, strengthen connectivity and resilience across the rail network, and improve access to key employment nodes, residential areas, and lifestyle destinations. 

8.                Commuters will enjoy shorter travel times between areas in the west, such as Pasir Panjang and Kent Ridge, with the Central Business District and Marina Bay in the city centre, as well as areas in the east, such as Paya Lebar and Mountbatten. For instance, today a commuter travelling by train from Telok Blangah to Marina Bay needs to transfer between the CCL, NEL and NSL. With the completion of CCL, the same journey can be completed without any transfers on a single train ride, saving around 10 minutes of travel time.
