Nothing beats the convenience of our spacious, modern Integrated Transport Hubs.

Singapore’s 11 Integrated Transport Hubs (ITHs) take the ease of commuting to the next level, with amenities galore and eco-friendly, inclusive designs.

You’ll find these lively hubs serving communities across the island, at Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Boon Lay, Bukit Panjang, Clementi, Joo Koon, Sengkang, Serangoon, Toa Payoh, Woodlands and Yishun. Here are six things worth knowing about them!

Commuting is no sweat. Literally and figuratively.

Fully air-conditioned, these interchanges connect our rail lines and bus interchanges seamlessly, within mere strides in sheltered comfort! The “integrated” in the name is the main claim to fame, as travel joins retail, residences or offices under one roof—you could easily have a meal, do some shopping and be home within minutes at the end of a long workday! It’s like Singapore just got smaller.

Fuss-free support for all

Worried about having to make a last dash to your door on a rainy day? They’ve got you covered. Most of our bus interchanges at ITHs are fully sheltered! Staff at these touch points also look out for all passengers and have been trained to assist every passenger.

Creature comforts are all there too. Among other amenities are new initiatives including bicycle parking lots and family washrooms. Need a place to change your baby? Comfortable baby care rooms are just around the corner at newer ITHs such as Woodlands and Yishun.

Did you know?  Bedok ITH was also the first of the hubs to win the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Award. We’re designed for sustainability too!

Grandma and Grandpa are on the radar

Thoughtful features make the ITHs senior-friendly, from large-print signs to seating around the concourse for tired legs, and priority queue seats near bus waiting lines. Not forgetting new initiatives such as the accessible changing rooms fitted with beds for changing. All bus interchanges and MRT stations are also Dementia Go-To Points that members of the public can lead commuters who need help navigating to. These hubs also double as resource centres for caregivers.

Never get lost

Electronic information display panels offer up-to-the-minute updates on your next ride. Then again, if you’ve missed the large, clear signboards and floor decals at newer ITHs such as Woodlands, you can spot them located above the Passenger Service counters for ease of navigation.

Did you know?  The floor decals at the newer ITHs are part of the “Find Your Way” initiative by Dementia Singapore. Directional floor stickers feature a range of colours with corresponding images that point the way to respective boarding berths.

Barrier-free and stress-free

Persons with disabilities—intellectual or physical—can move around the ITHs safely and easily, thanks to a slew of assistive features available. Wide corridors and ramps ease the passage for wheelchair users, while commuter care rooms are available for passengers to find some calm when things get overwhelming.
