Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) System Update: Majority of Services Available

News Releases 27 Jan 2026 Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) bus services

As of today, LTA has completed the manual updating of firmware for the 3,000 buses that were identified last week. The availability of bus arrival timings will be restored to 85% by tomorrow morning. Bus services continue to operate as scheduled.

2.        However, we have identified another 1,000 buses that will require manual firmware updates in order for the bus arrival system to be fully restored. We will do so over the course of the week, as this process can only take place after service hours. We expect the ETA system to be restored fully by early next week.

3.        We thank commuters for their patience as we continue working on resolving the issue and apologise for the inconvenience caused.
