The public is reminded of the road closures around the Marina Centre and Padang area from 7 to 13 October 2026 to facilitate preparations for the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026.
2. Affected roads will be progressively closed from 12.01am on 7 October 2026. They will be fully opened by 5.30am on 13 October 2026.
3. Motorists can use the following stretches of roads which will be temporarily opened at selected hours on weekdays:

4. During the road closure period, motorists can still access the Marina Centre via Rochor Road to Temasek Boulevard. Alternatively, they can use a single lane along Raffles Boulevard (Access Lane) via Nicoll Highway or Temasek Boulevard (except for buses and vehicles with W, X, Y plates) to reach the Marina Centre but only at the following timings, which have been adjusted due to the new SPRINT Race introduced in Singapore this year:

5. Taxis and motorcycles will also be able to use the Access Lane at all times, except during F1 track activity hours. However, in the event of high traffic volume, access to these roads may be restricted, except for police vehicles, emergency vehicles and vehicles with valid access passes.
6. Auxiliary Police Officers will be deployed to direct traffic and assist motorists to ensure smooth traffic flow. In addition to road information, directional signs will be prominently displayed in the vicinity to direct motorists. Car parks at Suntec City, Millenia Walk, and Marina Square will remain open to the public. Please refer to Annex A for details of road closures, and how motorists can access the Marina Centre and Padang area.
7. Members of the public and F1 ticket holders are strongly advised to plan their journeys in advance by referring to the Road Access & Public Transport Guide or using the OneMap routing services (developed by the Singapore Land Authority) available at https://go.gov.sg/f1. Information on access into the F1 circuit park and race schedule can be found on the Singapore Grand Prix website.
