More Improvements Under the Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme in 2026

News Releases 09 Feb 2026 bus services Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP)

The Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme (BCEP) was introduced in July 2024 to enhance bus connectivity, especially in newer estates located further from MRT stations, and offer alternative travel modes along rail lines with high ridership. Since its launch, LTA has introduced 27 new and extended bus services and enhanced 62 existing services to improve connectivity. These include new express bus services to and from the city and limited-stop bus services that take a faster route to MRT stations. Every day, about 244,000 commuters benefit from having more travel options and shorter trips.

Please refer to Annex A for examples of how the new services have benefitted commuters.
