The Certificate of Entitlement (COE) quota for May 2026 to July 2026 will be 19,052. Details of the quota for each COE category are in Annex A.
2. The May 2026 to July 2026 COE quota consists of the following components:
a. 25% of the replacement COEs from vehicles deregistered in the twelve-month period from April 2025 to March 2026;
b. Provision for 0.25% per annum growth for Category C based on the Category C vehicle population as at 31 December 2025; and
c. Adjustments for changes in the taxi population, expired Temporary COEs, Early Turnover Scheme for commercial vehicles, redistribution from identified guaranteed deregistrations and injections of additional COEs.
3. The COE quota for May 2026 to July 2026 is 1% more than the previous quarter (February 2026 to April 2026).
4. Bidding under this quota will start on 4 May 2026. Bidding exercises start on the first and third Monday of each month. There will be a longer interval of three weeks between the 2nd bidding exercise of June 2026 and the 1st bidding exercise of July 2026.
5. The next quota announcement for the bidding period of August 2026 to October 2026 will be made in July 2026.
