"My career in LTA has been richly rewarding. It has been a privilege to work with colleagues, supervisors and leaders who have supported and guided me. Every step in my career has been full of learning experiences and takeaways that have been invaluable for my professional and personal development."

Muhamad Zaki Bin Hamzah Lee, Senior Engineer, Systems Assurance

"Working on diverse projects in LTA has trained me to sharpen my problem-solving skills. Through job rotations, I have been given the opportunity to contribute directly in all phases of railway systems’ life cycles. This ranges from assessing system reliability during design to securing maintenance support for operation. This has equipped me with multiple lenses through which to analyse any issue. It is empowering to understand how different efforts fit together to sustain the reliability of our rail network."

siyun

Luo Siyun, Principal Engineer, Rail Design Development

“I truly appreciate what I learnt during my LTA attachment during my undergraduate days. The assignments were challenging and provided me with a better understanding of the work in LTA. After joining LTA, I have benefitted from the opportunity to rotate across divisions and be involved in projects outside of civil engineering. I attended an overseas course in Korea on its railway policy and safety systems. It was enlightening and eye-opening to work with people from other disciplines. More importantly, we took what we learnt to create better journeys for commuters in Singapore. That was very gratifying."
