The Land Transport Authority (LTA) conducts the Household Travel Survey (HTS) to collect household and travel information of Singapore’s residents. Through the HTS, this helps us gather insights into existing and emerging travel behaviour of Singaporeans and identify transportation needs.

Typically, the HTS collects information on various aspects of travel, including how respondents commute to work, school, and town centres. Your participation in the HTS will help shape the future of transportation in Singapore as an inclusive and efficient land transport system. 

All collected survey responses, whether digitally or by face-to-face interviews, will be securely stored in adherence to strict data protection standards.

Important Update: The HTS 2024 collection has concluded. We extend our sincere gratitude to all respondents for their valuable participation. The HTS 2025 collection is scheduled to commence in the second half of 2025.
