The Land Transport Authority (LTA) conducts the Household Travel Survey (HTS) annually to collect household and travel information of Singaporeans. HTS is a nationally representative survey of how, when and where Singaporeans travel. 

Through the HTS, LTA obtains a comprehensive account of travel behaviour of Singaporeans including demographic and socio-economic data. The data collected will help LTA monitor transport trends including changes in travel patterns and will provide essential travel data for the update of transport models to evaluate future policies and plans.

All survey responses, whether collected digitally or through face-to-face interviews, will be securely stored in adherence to strict data protection standards.

The 2025 HTS campaign has been completed. The HTS will re-open in the second half of 2026.
