The Junction Electronic Eyes (J-Eyes) system is a network of some 400 surveillance cameras at major traffic junctions. They monitor traffic conditions and verify incidents in real-time to enable LTA to make informed decisions to execute appropriate and effective action plans to manage incidents.

The cameras are typically mounted on traffic light poles, street lampposts or special poles and can pan, tilt and zoom. The video images of the traffic conditions are also piped back real-time to LTA’s Operations Control Centre.
