We refer to Mr Hong Yukun’s letter “There should be a detailed LRT network map” (ZB, 22 June).

Rapid Transit System Maps and LRT route maps are currently on display at information panels located on all LRT station platforms to help commuters find their way around our public transport network. The LRT route maps indicate the current LRT station, as well as the previous and next stations so that commuters using the LRT system can orientate themselves. 

In addition, locality maps providing information of the surrounding area such as the roads and landmarks in the vicinity of each station can also be found at the concourse level of all LRT stations. These locality maps are regularly refreshed so that they reflect new developments in the area.

We thank Mr Hong for his feedback, and will continue working with our public transport operators to improve the commuting experience.
