Safety Submission Overview

Safety submissions are the main element of the PSR (Safe-To-Use) process for road projects. In these submissions, project teams must demonstrate or assert that the road project is safe to use for all road users. Safety submissions take place at key milestones in a project’s life cycle:

Safety

The Road System Safety (RDSS) section of Project Safety Review (PSR) Directorate is responsible for the implementation and management of the PSR (Safe-To-Use) process for all LTA road projects. The RDSS section provides independent audits of road safety submissions to ensure that the requirements of the PSR (Safe-To-Use) process for road projects are fulfilled, and adequate assertions in safety have been demonstrated at the various stages in the life cycle of a road development project.
