Any firm/company who is not licensed to supply both professional engineering and architectural services may join with other firms/companies who have the relevant licence(s) [i.e. civil, mechanical and architectural] to submit a tender for Contract 1660. Tenderers shall appoint the firm/company who supplies professional engineering services in the branch of civil engineering as the lead member to serve as a coordinator for the team.

The Consultant shall be an Accredited Checking Organisation registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Singapore, in accordance with the latest amendments to the Building Control Act (Cap 29) and Regulations. The Scope of Services (the Services) to be carried out by the Consultant shall be as set out in the Terms of Reference. The Accredited Checking Organisation shall nominate the Accredited Checker and Specialist Accredited Checker to be responsible for the Services. The Accredited Checker shall be the direct employee of the Accredited Checking Organisation. The Accredited Checking Organisation must possess previous accredited checking experience in checking/designing underground Rapid Transit System (RTS) structures. Experience in checking/designing of underground RTS structures and railway related structures will be an advantage. The Authority reserves the right not to award this tender to Tenderers who have direct or indirect interests in Contract 913 (either as permanent and/or temporary works designer) that would present any possible or probable conflict of interest.

(b) Key members shall have at least 10 years experience in tunnel ventilation system design for rapid transit systems and hands-on in the use of SES and CFD computer simulation tools.
