Visitors will be treated to day of rail-ly fun-filled games and activities for both the young and old, including celebrity performances, photo opportunities with the Thoughtful Bunch and a Stamp Rally game for a chance to redeem a DTL3 gift (while stocks last!).

To celebrate the milestone, LTA is offering commuters free travel for journeys between all stations of the DTL on 21 and 22 Oct 2017.

If you are starting and ending at any of the 34 DTL stations
You will enjoy free travel on 21 and 22 October 2017 for your entire journey. Passengers will tap in and tap out as per normal at any fare gate, but no fare will be deducted.

If you are transferring to or from another line at interchange stations
You will have to tap out and then in again to enjoy free travel for the DTL leg of your journey if you are transferring to or from:

  • Bugis and Expo stations on the East-West Line
  • Chinatown and Little India stations on the North East Line
  • Bayfront, Botanic Gardens, MacPherson and Promenade stations on the Circle Line

If you are transferring from Bukit Panjang, Newton and Tampines
You can use any fare gate to tap out, but should use the dedicated fare gates to tap in so as to enjoy free travel on DTL.

Look out for directional signage and posters at these three stations that will point you to the dedicated fare gates. Station staff will also be there to help.


About the DTL3

The 21km long DTL3 includes 16 stations and three interchange stations at MacPherson, Tampines, and Expo, connecting commuters to the Circle and East-West Lines.

When DTL3 opens, the DTL will be the longest underground and driverless MRT line in Singapore. The complete DTL allows direct travel from the north-western and eastern areas to the Central Business District (CBD) and Marina Bay areas.

DTL3 starts operation on 21 Oct 2017.
