What is the Sengkang LRT?

Opened in 2003, the Sengkang LRT is the second LRT line in Singapore and connects the residents of Sengkang with the Town Centre, North-East Line and the Sengkang Bus Terminal.

The LRT line has 14 stations and all are in operation.


Where is the Sengkang LRT?

Trains on the Sengkang LRT ply 2 loops around the residential districts and suburbs of Sengkang. Sengkang LRT station connects commuters with the North-East Line.

Improvements to Seng Kang Punggol LRT


The Sengkang LRT has been upgraded to a two-car system to increase its capacity from January 2016, which doubles the capacity to 204 passengers per train.
