LTA had earlier announced that drivers employed by traditional limousine companies can be exempted from the PDVL course conducted by the appointed training providers if the training programmes of such limousine companies meet LTA’s requirements. Limousine companies who employ their drivers may apply to LTA for assessment of their in-house training. These drivers should be full-time employees and be primarily fulfilling jobs on behalf of their companies. The training should also include the relevant rules and regulations for provision of chauffeured services.
Companies who have been approved by LTA to conduct in-house training for their private hire car drivers may guide these drivers to submit the PDVL application via LicenceOne. Please click here for more information.
Limousine companies who are interested to have their in-house training assessed may write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
