Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE)

Bukit Timah Expressway

The Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) starts at the Pan-Island Expressway in Bukit Timah and continues north towards the Woodlands Checkpoint and Woodlands Causeway.

The BKE is a six-lane dual carriageway, with a total length of 11km.

Construction was completed in 1986.

In 2003, a section of the expressway was converted into a four-lane dual carriageway to link it more conveniently to Seletar Expressway (SLE).

The BKE runs through the northern end of Singapore and covers Bukit Timah and Woodlands areas.
